Allison LeBaron - Custom Leather Journals :: Leather Journals
LeBaron Books are handmade journals by the artist Allison LeBaron. Each book is custom made and no two books are exactly alike. Every book is made of the finest materials with genuine cow skin leather and 100% cotton rag archival paper. The paper is bound into sections called signatures. Each signature is comprised of approximately 5 sheets folded over to make approximately 100 pages per journal.
Signatures are then hand sewn in to the spine along with a decorative paper fly leaf. There are eleven different types of end sheets to choose from. Detailed pictures and more options can be found on the Materials page. If you would like to add a bead or a coin button pick one out and order it along with your book. This catalog illustrates some popular journals, however all orders are custom and you can mix and match leathers with your choice of fly leaf and strap color or strap and button closure. If you find that you have added an item to your shopping cart and want to make a change to your order simply check the remove box and press update and continue shopping.
